Le roi Philippe et la reine Mathilde sont arrivés en Afrique du Sud et ont rencontré le président (VIDEO)

Ils sont accompagnés d’Hadja Lahbib, ministre fédérale des Affaires étrangères, d’Elio Rupo et Rudi Vervoort, respectivement ministres-présidents de Wallonie de la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale et d’une importante délégation de chefs d’entreprise et représentants du monde académique.

Le roi et la reine sont bien arrivés en Afrique du Sud où ils ont été accueillis, comme le veut la tradition, avec une belle haie d’honneur au Freedom park de Pretoria.

Par ce voyage, la Belgique vise à améliorer ses relations avec l’Afrique du Sud, qui abrite la plus grande communauté belge d’Afrique.

Ce jeudi, les souverains belges ont également rencontré le président sud-africain Cyril Ramaphosa.
