Si le prince George s’est montré patient et appliqué dans son rôle durant la cérémonie de couronnement, le temps semblait passer très lentement pour son petit frère Louis. Ce dernier a été aperçu plusieurs fois en train de bailler. Il a également tenté de distraire sa grande soeur Charlotte.

Et puis quelques instants après que le roi Charles a été officiellement couronné par l’archevêque Justin Welby, Louis a disparu de sa place. Selon le site Hello, sa sortie précoce de l’abbaye était planifiée : sa nounou est venue le chercher discrètement à la moitié de la cérémonie. Il est cependant revenu juste avant la sortie de l’église, qu’il a quittée en tenant Charlotte par la main.
